Heart's of the West 32nd Blog Hop - Oh Deer! Paper Packet

This month's theme is using Close to My Heart's City Oh Deer! Paper Packet. This paper packet is featured in CTMH's Holiday Expressions Mini Catalogue.

I used Close To My Heart's Oh Deer! Packet with CTMH's Cocoa cardstock.

To embellish the sign, I used CTMH's Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge & CTMH's Winter Thin Cut.

To make the sign, I asked my husband to cut me 3 pieces of 2 x 2. One 5" long, one 7" long & one at 9" long. He sanded the edges for me. I adhered the paper to the wood and then did a light white wash over the paper with white paint and water so that the lettering stood out more from the patterned paper.
