Pride & Joy Picture My Life Layout

I am participating in the CTMH Heart 2 Heart Challenge - Picture My Crush. Create a project using CTMH Picture My Life or Crush products.

The glare on this photo is because of the page protector that the layout is in.

I used Close to My Heart's Laughing Lola Paper Packet with CMTH Laughing Lola Purple cardstock. I also used two 3 x 4 die-cut cards from the Picture My Life Laughing Lola Scrapbooking Program.

To do my layout, I used CTMH's Design 3 Page Protector.

I also used CTMH's Cutie Pie - December Stamp of the Month, This Moment - January Stamp of the Month, A Typeface and Keyboard Uppercase stamp sets with CTMH Black ink and Staz On Jet Black Ink.

The "Love This" heart and outline hearts were stamped with Staz On ink directly onto the photo.

One of my personal goals was to participate in every challenge in one month that CTMH Heart 2 Heart Challenges Blog offered. This post completes that challenge.

Spice Spice Baby

I am participating in the CTMH Heart 2 Heart Challenge - Spice of Life. You could do a project with spicy colours, a recipe or however you interpret it.

As soon as I read the challenge, this title and layout came to my mind immediately. No joke...that is how my mind works. The only problem was that my pregnancy photos were buried in one of the 25 boxes/totes left in my living room to go through from the flood 2 years ago.

So, a big thank you goes out to Aiden, Amy's boyfriend. Trevor was going to go through the boxes for me, but life got in the way. Amy messed up her back at the trampoline park and couldn't lift the boxes. I can't do anything because of my concussion. So, Aiden happily came over and helped me out.

We found the photos in the last box we went through...again no joke, but we re-organized the boxes and my living room looks a lot better now. More space and not so junky looking.

I used Close to My Heart's Chalk It Up Paper Packet with CTMH White Daisy, Black and Lagoon cardstocks.

To embellish the layout, I used the following CTMH products: Chalk It Up Assortment, Dot Embossing Folder, Black Sparkles, Art Philosophy for the flowers & title and Artbooking for the butterfly & recipe card. I also used Stampin' Up's Spritz Tool with my Black Copic Marker - 100.

I used CTMH's Brushed Scrapbooking Workshop (butterfly & "joy"), Confetti Wishes Scrapbooking Workshop (middle of flower) and Chalk It Up Scrapbooking Workshop (middle of flower) stamp sets with CTMH Black ink.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I wanted to participate in Freshly Made Sketches #146 - A Sketch by Amy, but I missed the deadline.

I used Close to My Heart's Pathfinding Paper Packet with CTMH Chocolate, Champagne and Autumn Terracotta cardstocks.

To embellish the card, I used CTMH's Artiste Cricut Cartridge, CTMH's Woodgrain Embossing Folder, CTMH's buttons (discontinued) and embroidery floss from my stash.

I used CTMH's Perfect Fit - Thanksgiving stamp set with CTMH Barn Red ink.

When I went to post this card on Friday, my computer was dead. We will hopefully have our new computer with Windows 7 tomorrow. Since nothing goes as planned around my house, I am trying out plan B for posting using my daughter's smart phone for photos and our stupid lap top to post.

This process is very frustrating, but I have to make the best of the situation...right?

Tea for You Treat Tube

I am participating in the Heart 2 Heart Challenge - Some Like it Hot! It's your interpretation of Hot; whether it's tea/coffee, hot summer day or a spicy recipe.

I am having fun right now with the CTMH's Clear Treat Tubes. I filled this one up with David's Tea's Chocolate Rocket Tea. There is enough in here to make 4 cups of tea.

I used Close to My Heart's Pathfinding & Seaside Paper Packets with CTMH's Chocolate cardstock.

To colour the chocolate tea in the cups, I used Copic Markers E59 & E57 and stamped the image with Memento Black ink.

I used CTMH's Cup of Cheer, Crafted with Love (for you) and July's Stamp of the Month - Circus Alphabet (T) stamp sets with CTMH's Black & Juniper inks.

The Treat Box was traced and cut out from a template that I kept from a CTMH Valentine's Day Promotion a few years back.

The treat box was made from the pre-made treat boxes that I got in an old CTMH Valentine's Day Promotion. I kept a few on hand to use as a template.

I used the following Copic Markers: Orange - YR18 & YR12; Grey - W3 & W0; Green - YG25 ~ Twice; Cream - YR20 & YR000; Purple - RV66 & V05; Light Purple - RV63 ~ Twice; Black - 100 and Yellow - YR12 ~ Twice.

After finishing my two Halloween Cards on the two previous posts to today, I was all excited that I had used all the stamps from the New CTMH Frightfully Fun stamp set. My excitement quickly ended when I noticed that I hadn't used the stamp "Boo!".

So, I decided to make this treat tube up with the word "Boo!" so that I could finally say that I used every stamp on this stamp set.

Close to My Heart Jewellery

I am not of a jewellery person, but I do enjoy my necklaces with meaning and I am in love with Close to My Heart's New Bracelet. CTMH's New Pendant Necklaces that you can customize and Oval Cuff Bracelets are totally my style.

The first necklace with my "D" Monogram (for Donna Digby), I used the following CTMH Base & Bling Faux Antiqued Silver Products: Chain, Oval Pendant, Craft Queen Charm and Rhinestone Charm. The "D" came from CTMH's New Base & Bling Signature Style Sheet (sticker sheet). I used CTMH's Liquid Glass to adhere the Oval Glass Cover.

The second necklace with the camera charm, I used the following CTMH Base & Bling Faux Antiqued Gold Products: Chain, Square Pendant and Craft Queen Charm. The "See the Beauty in the World" quote came from CTMH's Base & Bling Journey Style Sheet (sticker sheet). I used CTMH's Liquid Glass to adhere the Square Glass Cover.

The third necklace with Amy & TJ's photo in it, I used the following CTMH Base & Bling Faux Antiqued Silver Products: Chain, Circle Pendant, Free Thinker Charm and Storyteller Charm. The photo was printed at Japan Camera (local wet photo lab). I used CTMH's Liquid Glass to adhere the Circle Glass Cover. My last name is Digby and this photo was taken of my children in Digby, Nova Scotia.

The CTMH Base & Bling Faux Antiqued Silver Oval Cuff was the easiest project of them all; except for trying to pick out which fabulous quote sticker I wanted to use. The quote sticker came from CTMH's Base & Bling Journey Style Sheet (sticker sheet). I used CTMH's Liquid Glass to adhere the Oval Glass Cover.

I have had the photo necklace done for a while. I made up the other two necklaces and the bracelet in less than 20 minutes the other night.

Awesome Robot Card

I definitely was inspired by the colours and I immediately thought of this CTMH Robot Family stamp set. As for the boat, I don't own any boat stamp sets and once I had the robots stuck in my head....there was no turning back.

I made this card for my friend's son's 8th Birthday next month.

In a round about way, my robot (which represents technology) does fit in with the boat photo and this is how. While working on this card, I would step away to take a break. During one break I checked out facebook. I had family & friends away camping/fishing this weekend.

When I went on facebook, they were also on facebook while camping/fishing. So, I thought it was funny that they were away in the bush, but still using technology. So, to me, someone is lying in the bottom of that boat connected to the world wide web.

I used Close to My Heart's Topiary, Outdoor Denim, Desert Sand, Sunset, Autumn Terracotta and Sky cardstocks.

To embellish the card, I used CTMH's brads (discontinued), CTMH Artiste Cricut Cartridge (for the gear die-cuts) and CTMH's Chevron Embossing Folder.

I used My Creative Time's It's All About You stamp set (sentiments & chevron border); CTMH's Robot Family, Keyboard Uppercase (the number 8) and In Gear stamp sets with Topiary, Desert Sand, Outdoor Denim and Autumn Terracotta inks.

Starburst Santa Claus Gift Tag

I am participating in Sparkle's Creations Weekly Christmas Card Challenge #32 - Thinking Tags.

On Thursday night, I held a Christmas Card Workshop. While prepping the class this 3 x 3 Christmas Gift Tag came to me and I whipped it up before any of the participants arrived.

This tag ties into the Christmas Card that we made that night and from the Free Make 'n' Take that I offered last year. Both the card and the tag were made from using scrap pieces from last year's make 'n' take.

I used Close to My Heart's Sparkle & Shine Paper Packet with CTMH Juniper and Ruby cardstocks.

To embellish the tag, I used Spellbinder's Circle Nestability, Making Memories eyelet and red twine from Home Sense.

I used CTMH's Santa Claus, A Holiday, Glamour Lowercase and Cricut Artiste Collection Kudos stamp sets with CTMH Ruby, Juniper and Slate inks.

The two-sided patterned paper that I used on this card is discontinued, but I still have some individual sheets of this paper for sale.
