I am participating in the Color My Heart - Color Dare #98 - Indian Corn Blue & Buttercup challenge.

Close to My Heart's June Promotional Kits: Color-Ready Seam Binding Ribbon.

Current CTMH Products: Jubiliee Paper Packet, Babycakes Paper Packet, Indian Corn Blue cardstock & ink, Buttercup cardstock & ink, Clear Sparkles, Sparkles Clear Flourishes - Small, Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge (ovals), Artiste Cricut Cartridge (flowers), Hello Blooms stamp set, Funky Blossoms stamp set, Banner Wishes stamp set, Sponge Dauber & Honey ink.

For the yellow banners and yellow sentiment, I used Honey ink on the Buttercup cardstock so that it was more legible than using Buttercup on Buttercup. The small banners on the front were stamped with one of the flowers from the Hello Blooms stamp set to give that swirl effect. The Happy Birthday banner on the inside was inked up with a sponge dauber.

For the yellow ribbon on the front of the card, I used Color-Ready Seam Binding Ribbon and a sponge dauber with Buttercup ink to make the ribbon Buttercup instead of white. Like on previous cards, as soon as I inked the ribbon, none of my adhesives would stick the ribbon down except for a hot glue gun.
