Christmas Tag Card

I used Close to My Heart's Skylark Paper Packet with CTMH's Desert Sand and Ruby cardstocks.

To embellish the card, I used CTMH's Ruby Chevron Ribbon, CTMH's Topiary Mini Chevron Ribbon, CTMH's Neutral Metallic Assortment Baker's Twine (removed the metallic), CTMH's Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge to cut out the base of the card at 6 inches and to cut out the tags and CTMH's Artbooking Cricut Cartridge to cut out the inside sentiment die-cut.

I also used EK Success' Large Corner Rounder Punch and Small Circle Punch.

I used CTMH's Santa Claus, True to Life, Fill in the Blank - Holiday and Magical Days stamp sets with CTMH Ruby & Cocoa inks.

This isn't the best photo of this card, but I made due with our rainy weekend.

Thinking of You Card - Ariana Paper Packet

My husband asked me if I had a "Thinking of You" card on hand. I replied: "No, but I can whip you one up." Love this Sketch Design from Freshly Made Sketches.

I used Close to My Heart's Skylark and Ariana Paper Packets with CTMH's Ariana Green & Ariana Coral cardstock.

To embellish the card I used CTMH's Artiste Cricut Cartridge to cut out the flowers, CTMH's Mini Medley Accents Collection and CTMH's Damask Embossing Folder on the Ariana Coral Flower.

For the front of my card, I used CTMH's Sincere Expressions & Stitch Wonder stamps sets with CTMH's New England Ivy ink.

For the inside of my card, I used CTMH's New Zealand Greetings, Stitch Wonder, Ariana Scrapbooking Workshop and Ivy Lane Workshop stamp sets with CTMH's Cocoa, Barn Red and New England Ivy inks.

Merry Christmas Skylark & Ivy Lane

My friend and fellow Close to My Heart Consultant, Krista Silver, unintentionally put forth a challenge to me.

We were scrapbooking together the other night and in her consultant kit she received 24 sheets of one piece of paper from Skylark to help with prepping a workshop. She never got around to using it.

So, she says to me: "What am I going to do with all of this paper?" I replied: "Make Christmas cards with it." She replied: "It's too yellow, you can't make a Christmas card with this."

To me, that sounds like a challenge. So, Krista and her sister, Shanna, went home and I made this card using the too yellow patterned paper in a Christmas Card.

I used CTMH's Skylark and Ivy Lane Paper Packets with CTMH's Lagoon cardstock and Pink Glitter Paper.

To embellish the card, I used CTMH's Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge to cut out the holly leaves, CTMH's Neutral Metallic Assortment Baker's Twine, CTMH's Black & Grey Assortment Sparkles, CTMH's Pink Glitter Gems, CTMH's Marvy Black Journaling Pen and my Making Memories ruler.

I used CTMH's A Holiday and Polar Bear Holiday stamp sets with CTMH Black ink.

All Things Possible Card

I used Close to My Heart's Skylark Paper Packet with CTMH's Sweet Leaf cardstock.

To embellish the card, I used Spellbinders in'spire Silhouette die-cut and CTMH's Skylark Assortment.

I used CTMH's Dreamer and Believe in Yourself stamp sets with CTMH's Sweet Leaf and Lagoon ink.

I have not stamped a sentiment on the inside of the card as of yet because I don't know if I want to use this as a Congratulations card or a Birthday card.

If you are wondering where I used the Believe in Yourself stamp set and the Sweet Leaf ink, look very closely in the background paper around the die-cut.

Hello Again Dakota

I am participating in Color My Heart Color Dare #100 - Crystal Blue, Pacifica & Barn Red.

For those of you who follow me on Facebook, you know that I won a fabulous prize package from Spellbinders by participating in Scrapbook & Cards Today's National Scrapbooking Day Blog Hop Give-A-Ways.

I won 4 Spellbinders in'spire die-cuts: Sihouette, Caged, Feathers on the Wind and Typewriter.

These die-cuts are not my usual style, but I was up to the challenge to step outside my comfort zone.

Today's post and the next two day's posts will also feature the dies that I won from Spellbinders and Scrapbook & Cards Today.

I used Close to My Heart's Dakota Paper Packet (retired) with CTMH's Barn Red, Pacifica & Black cardstocks.

To embellish the card, I used Spellbinders in'spire Typewriter, CTMH's Pacifica buttons (retired), CTMH's Pacifica brads (retired), CTMH's Marvy Black Journaling Pen, embroidery floss from my stash and the zig zag stitch on my sewing machine with black thread.

I used CTMH's July Stamp of the Month - Circus Alphabet for the "hello" and for the inside sentiment I used CTMH's Sincere Expressions with CTMH Black ink.

I do really try to use current CTMH products, but nothing current would work for me. Once I read the challenge, I thought Dakota Paper Packet and I just couldn't get it out of my head. Since digging out this paper packet, I noticed how much Retired CTMH Paper Packets I have on hand.

This may become a new challenge for me in the upcoming months...use up retired close to my heart products.
