I am participating in Sparkle's Creations Weekly Christmas Card Challenge #31 - Anything Goes.
My friend and fellow Close to My Heart Consultant, Krista Silver, unintentionally put forth a challenge to me.
We were scrapbooking together the other night and in her consultant kit she received 24 sheets of one piece of paper from Skylark to help with prepping a workshop. She never got around to using it.
So, she says to me: "What am I going to do with all of this paper?" I replied: "Make Christmas cards with it." She replied: "It's too yellow, you can't make a Christmas card with this."
To me, that sounds like a challenge. So, Krista and her sister, Shanna, went home and I made this card using the too yellow patterned paper in a Christmas Card.
I used CTMH's Skylark and Ivy Lane Paper Packets with CTMH's Lagoon cardstock and Pink Glitter Paper.
To embellish the card, I used CTMH's Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge to cut out the holly leaves, CTMH's Neutral Metallic Assortment Baker's Twine, CTMH's Black & Grey Assortment Sparkles, CTMH's Pink Glitter Gems, CTMH's Marvy Black Journaling Pen and my Making Memories ruler.
I used CTMH's A Holiday and Polar Bear Holiday stamp sets with CTMH Black ink.
Very creative :) I'm sure you are great inspiration to Krista, as well as others!
