This week at Color My Heart Challenge Blog our Color Dare #209 is using Close To My Heart Colours: Sorbet, Pomegranate, Pear, Black & White Daisy with Gold.
This week's challenge was chosen by our 200th Challenge Diamond Award Winner Lisa Bzibziak of Life of a BZ Scrapper.
I used Close To My Heart's Uptown Fundamentals Paper Packet for the gold strips with CTMH's White Daisy, Pomegranate & Water Colour cardstocks.
To embellish the card, I used CTMH's Gold Sequins, Spellbinders' Circle Nestabilities and I did the smooshing technique for the background where I took a 3 x 3 piece of page protector...inked it...sprayed water on it and then smooshed it onto my paper...I used CTMH's Pomegranate, Sorbet & Pear (discontinued) inks.
I used CTMH's Create Kindness - Beautiful & Bitty Birthday (discontinued) stamp sets with CTMH Black ink. I coloured in the word KIND with the CTMH Small Round Water Brush and CTMH Sorbet ink.
You may use any products to participate in the Color My Heart Challenges, but we encourage you to use CTMH products. For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.

Donna, really love the background ink and water smooshing technique you used with the three colors...striking, and love how you added your sentiment with a little bit of color...great layout.
