Color My Heart Challenge Blog - Color Dare #122

I used Close to My Heart's New England Ivy, Cranberry, Olive & Sorbet cardstocks.

To embellish the card, I used a CTMH Edge Distresser, CTMH Olive Baker's Twine (discontinued), CTMH Damask Embossing Folder and a CTMH Spray Pen filled with water to spray my cardstock to allow me to crumple the cardstock up into a ball and iron out flat with my iron.

I don't think I have ever used my iron to iron my clothes, but I have used it to iron my paper and my ribbon.

I used CTMH's Best Christmas and Yuletide Carol Scrapbooking Workshop stamp sets with CTMH Olive, New England Ivy and Cranberry inks.

You may use any products to participate in the Color My Heart Challenges, but we encourage you to use CTMH products. For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.

For more information about our challenges, please check us out at Color My Heart Challenge Blog: http://colormyheartcolordare.blogspot.caI look forward to seeing what types of projects you can inspire us with.

  2. Fun technique and I love your use of the pine boughs as an embellishment of sorts.

  3. Absolutely lovely, Donna! All the details make this card. I love the distressed edges, the random stamped background, and especially the wrinkled interior of the card!
