I used Close to My Heart's Blossom Paper Packet with CTMH Cranberry & White Daisy cardstocks.

To embellish the layout, I used CTMH's Artiste Cricut Cartridge (FIRST) and my sewing machine with red thread.

I used CTMH's Ice Cream Dream - June Stamp of the Month and Keyboard Uppercase with CTMH Lagoon, Pear & Cranberry inks.

Washi Tape Starburst Card

I used Close to My Heart's Topiary, Honey & White Daisy cardstocks.

To embellish the card, I used CTMH's Topiary Striped, Honey Triangles and Black Arrow Washi Tapes.

Color My Heart Challenge - Color Dare #144

This week at Color My Heart Challenge Blog our Color Dare #144 is to use Close to My Heart Colors: Juniper, Canary, Ruby & White Daisy. 

I used Close to My Heart's Basic Paper Fundamentals - Whimsy Assortment - Juniper & Canary with CTMH Ruby, Canary & White Daisy cardstocks.

To embellish the 8 x 8 layout, I used Pooh Font Set Cricut Cartridge, CTMH Stitch Guide and embroidery floss from my stash.

You're Kind of a Big Dill!

This is a birthday card that I made for my cousin, Jason.

I used Doodlebug Design's Friendly Forest, Happy Camper & Happy Harvest 6 x 6 paper pads with BoBunny Olive Double Dot cardstock.

To embellish the card, I used My Favorite Things Buttons, Stampin' Up Ribbon, embroidery floss from my stash and Spellbinders' Circle Nestabilities.

Copic Marker's used: YG93, YG95, YG97 & YG99.

I used Unity Stamp Company's In a Pickle and CTMH Joyful Birthday stamp sets with Memento Black ink.

TJ's Splish Splash 8 x 8 Layout

On Thursday, April 30, 2015, we noticed the water spout out front of our house was leaking and it created this huge puddle.

On Monday, May 4, 2015, a city worker informed me that they were coming the next day to dig up the area to see what was causing the leak. So, I let TJ go out and play in the puddle before the leak was fixed.

The city did come the next day and dug down 8 feet and found out that the pipe was broken at the main shut off valve. It was fixed and no problem since.

I used Close to My Heart's Scaredy Cat Paper Packet with My Little Yellow Bicycle Splash Paper Line and a Bazzill Blue cardstock.

To embellish the 8 x 8 layout, I used ribbon from my stash, Making Memories Blue Brads, CTMH White Mini Brads (discontinued), Star Sequins from my stash and Spellbinders' Circle Nestabilities.

This 4 inch tag was cut out with the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.

To embellish the tag, I used a CTMH Sponge with CTMH Lagoon & Pear inks and Vintage Pixie Ribbon.

I used CTMH's Honeycomb and Holiday Tags stamp sets with CTMH Outdoor Denim ink.

Happy Face Flower Tag

I used Doodlebug Designs Sugar Shoppe 6 x 6 paper pad with BoBunny Ocean and Sunflower Double Dot cardstock.

To make the tag shape, I used Spellbinders Big Scalloped Ovals Nestabilities and to make the eyes glossy, I used CTMH's Liquid Glass.

I used Close to My Heart's Un-Named Alphabet and Stephanie Ackerman Mixed Middles Flower stamp sets with CTMH Black ink.

I used Doodlebug Designs Sugar Shoppe 6 x 6 paper pad with BoBunny Ocean Dot cardstock and a Bazzill Pink cardstock.

To embellish the 4 x 6 card, I used Recollections Enamel Dots and Close to My Heart's Liquid Glass.

I used Stephanie Ackerman Mixed Middles Flower and Stampin' Up's Petite Pairs stamp sets with CTMH Black ink.

This week at Color My Heart Challenge Blog our Color Dare #143 is to use Close to My Heart Colors: White Daisy, Black, Gold and/or Flaxen. 

I used Close to My Heart's White Daisy & Black cardstocks with CTMH Gold Glitter Paper.

To embellish the card, I used CTMH's Damask Embossing Folder and CTMH Gold Assortment Sequins.

Happy 17th Birthday Amy!

Today is Amy's 17th Birthday. Back in the day, I used the magnetic photo albums that I later found out had acid in them and the pages were turning yellow.

All of Amy's photos from her first year were in homemade photo magnetic albums. So, I took all the photos out of the albums and I am now scrapbooking them mostly using the Picture My Life pocket style. 

This is the title page of her soon to be new album. This was the photo taken of her by the hospital when they used to do the first "professional" shot before you left the hospital. 

I used Close to My Heart's Babycakes Paper Packet (discontinued) with CTMH Chocolate cardstock.

To embellish the layout, I used CTMH's Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge, CTMH's Babycakes Assortment (discontinued), CTMH Flowers (discontinued), CTMH Wooden Button (discontinued), CTMH Veneer Flowers (discontinued) and Bazzill's Circle Stitch Template with embroidery floss from my stash.

Aiden's Birthday Card

I used Close to My Heart's Twilight (discontinued), Olive & Bamboo cardstocks.

To embellish the card, I used CTMH's Twilight Brads (discontinued), My Mind's Eye Washi Tape & Recollections Washi Tape.

I used CTMH's Blossom Card Making Workshop & Joyful Birthday stamp sets with CTMH Olive ink.

All the "patterned papers" on this card is CTMH's Bamboo cardstock covered in washi tape.

Sparkle - My Scrap Buddy Layout

Here is the last sketch from The Scrapbook Cottage that I played along with on International Scrapbooking Day Weekend.

I used Close to My Heart's Brushed & Taste of Summer Paper Packets with CTMH White Daisy cardstock.

To embellish the 8 x 8 layout, I used George & Basic Shapes Cricut Cartridge, CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge, CTMH Flower (discontinued), CTMH Sparkles Clear Flourishes - Small, CTMH Coral Reef Sequins, CTMH Clear Assortment Sparkles and CTMH Lagoon Baker's Twine (discontinued).

Autism Crop Glamour Shot Layout

At the Autism Crop 2015, they offered Glamour Shots for $5. So, here is my Glamour Shot.

On International Scrapbooking Day, The Scrapbook Cottage in Winnipeg offered 8 sketches for anyone to play along with and I did 4 out of the 8 sketches over the International Scrapbooking Day Weekend.

I used My Mind's Eye Pretty Please Paper Line with Close to My Heart White Daisy cardstock.

To embellish the 8 x 8 layout, I used an EK Success Border Punch, My Creative Time 3 Star Stitch Dies, Opposites Attract Cricut Cartridge and CTMH White Enamel Chevrons (discontinued).

I used CTMH's Documenting Moments (journal lines) stamp set with CTMH Slate ink.

Amy's Birthday isn't until May 21st, but we had her Family Birthday BBQ on the 14th.

I used Carta Bella All Hallow's Eve Paper Line with a Stampin' Up Brown cardstock and Close to My Heart Cashmere cardstock.

To embellish the card, I used Recollections Flowers, Simple Stories Enamel Dots, Spellbinders Oval & Scalloped Oval Nestabilities and embroidery floss from my stash.

The Scrapbook Cottage in Winnipeg, posted 8 Sketches for anyone to play along with on International Scrapbooking Day. I completed 4 out of the 8 sketches over the International Scrapbooking Day Weekend.

I used Close to My Heart's Blossom Paper Packet, CTMH Basics Paper Fundamentals Whimsy & Adventure Assortments with CTMH Pacifica & Topiary cardstocks..

To embellish my 12 x 12 layout, I used Bazzill's Circle Stitch Template with embroidery floss from my stash, Basic Grey Enamel Dots, Mickey Font Cricut Cartridge and Jubilee Cricut Cartridge.

Spring Crop Layout

On International Scrapbooking Day, The Scrapbook Cottage in Winnipeg posted 8 Sketches on Facebook for customers to play along with as on-line workshops.

I had a great time scrapbooking with Shanna & her sister, Krista and getting 4 out of the 8 sketches done over the International Scrapbooking Day Weekend.

I used My Mind's Eye Quite Contrary, Tres Jolie - Mademoiselle and Deena's Penny Lane Paper Lines.

To embellish the 12 x 12 Two Page Layout, I used a Martha Stewart Border Punch & Storybook Cricut Cartridge.

I challenged myself to make a tag using each of the six papers that comes in the Close to My Heart Taste of Summer Paper Packet.

To make my 3.5 x 4.5 inch tags, I used CTMH's Taste of Summer Paper Packet with CTMH Glacier, Smoothie, Cotton Candy, Honey, Sunset, Crystal Blue, Thistle and Canary cardstocks and a scrap of Recollections Green cardstock.

To make the margarita glass, I used From the Kitchen Cricut Cartridge.

I used CTMH's For a Friend, Taste of Summer, Have a Happy Day, The Authentic Life, Ice Cream Dream - June Stamp of the Month, Blossom Cardmaking Workshop and Sweet as Sugar - Hostess Rewards stamp sets with Stampin' Up Glorious Green ink and CTMH Hollyhock, Slate, Autumn Terracotta, Goldrush, Honey, Saddle & Thistle inks.
