Well, I love this design so much that I have decided that it is going to be my design for this year's Valentine's Day & hopefully my Easter cards as well.
I showed you three card fronts to show the three different types of ribbons I used and two card insides to show you how the different scraps of patterned papers from the front of the card look on the inside of the card. I was able to make a total of 6 of these cards.
I used SEI's Corinne 6 x 6 paper pack with Bazzill Berrylicious & Bluff cardstock.
To embellish the card, I used Die Cuts with a View brads and Stampin' Up 3/8" Red Taffeta Ribbon, 3/8" Calypso Coral Ruffled Ribbon and their stitched ribbon from an old line. The red taffeta ribbon is from Stampin' Up's 2010-2011 catalogue. I don't have a copy of that catalogue any more, so I don't know the exact name of this ribbon.
The die-cut on the front of the card was done with CTMH's Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. The sentiment on the front of the card is from CTMH's February Stamp of the Month - Thoughtful Tidings and stamped with Stampin' Up Melon Mambo Ink. Due to the fact that I used the decorative layer, the die-cut was cut out at 1 1/4 inch instead of 1 inch like recommended on the stamp set.
The inside sentiment is from Kraftin' Kimmie's Holiday Sentiments stamp set.
Love it! Fantastic sentiment and I love the way you "framed" it.
