My girlfriends and I made an 8x8 album for our friend Kelly's new daughter, Quhyn.Kelly adopted Quyhn from China and was finally able to bring her home on November 20, 2010. We made the album so that she could record Quyhn's first year, and a bit, at home.
The album was originally going to be from November 2010 to November 2011, but Quyhn's 3rd Birthday is in December 2011. So it seemed more appropriate to have the book go until her birthday, so we added a month.
I did the title page, December 2011 & the last page of the book.
The ribbon on the December 2011 layout is actually a lot like the darker green colour in the mats, but with all the sparkle in it the ribbon it kept shooting as you see it in my post.
I had a lot of fun making these pages.
