I am participating in Jingle Belles Pink Christmas Card Challenge.

To make this gift card tag, I used Close to My Heart's Cotton Candy & White Daisy cardstocks.

To embellish the gift tag, I used CTMH's Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge to cut out the card base at 2 1/4 inch & the white tag at 2 inches, the twine is from my stash and I used an EK Success 1 1/8 inch punch to punch out the "until 25".

I used CTMH's Home for the Holidays - October Stamp of the Month, Magical Moment (24), Fill in the Blank - Holiday (until & love), Merriest Christmas (inside sentiment) and Holiday Tags (To:) with CTMH's Cranberry and Cotton Candy inks. 

Christmas Eve is spent at my grandparents' place and with my mom's side of the family. We do our gift exchange that night and I have 5 young ladies (my teenage cousins) that I buy for and so I have made five of these tags for their gifts.

The "Pink Christmas" Card Challenge will run on Jingle Belles Blog from 12 a.m. on Friday, October 10th to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22nd. As in previous years, Stephanie and Lauren pledge to donate $4 per linked-up card to The Susan G. Komen Foundation.

The only requirement is that all link-ups be NEW Holiday Cards with some noticeable pink on them...so in other words, not just Rudolph's Nose, lol!

Participants may use sketches, combine challenges and include any other colours in addition to PINK. You can showcase however many cards you'd like in one post, don't worry, they'll still count every single one of them towards the total.

I am also participating in Shopping Our Stash - SOS #173 Challenge - Hello Sweetie. For this challenge you are to depict something sweet or make something sweet for your sweetie. I Christmas candy in my background for this challenge.

I used CTMH's Home for the Holidays - October Stamp of the Month, Stitch Wonder, Santa Claus, Be Jolly - Hostess Rewards, Cutie Pie - December Stamp of the Month and Fill in the Blank - Holiday stamp sets with CTMH Ruby, Pixie, Hollyhock & Cotton Candy inks. 

For the inside sentiment, I used Copic Markers RV32 & RV11 to colour in the word Jolly and the Holly Leaves.

This week at Color My Heart Challenge Blog our Color Dare #115 is to use Sunset, Olive & Outdoor Denim.

I am also participating in Freshly Made Sketches #158 - A Sketch by Jen T.

I used Close to My Heart's Outdoor Denim, Desert Sand, Olive & Sunset Cardstocks.

To embellish the card, I used CTMH's Sunset Chevron Washi Tape, CTMH's Sunset Baker's Twine (discontinued), CTMH's Sunset Buttons (discontinued) and CTMH's Chevron Border Punch.

I used Home for the Holidays - October Stamp of the Month, Best Christmas and Santa Claus stamp sets with CTMH Outdoor Denim ink.

You may use any products to participate in the Color My Heart Challenges, but we encourage you to use CTMH products. For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.

So, you may be seeing a lot of Pink Christmas Cards for the next while...at least I am going to try to incorporate the Pink Challenge with my 12 Days of Christmas Challenge with the October Stamp of the Month - Home for the Holidays.

I used Close to My Heart's Brushed Paper Packet with CTMH Ruby, Juniper, Pixie & White Daisy cardstocks. I used White Copic paper for the inside sentiment.

To embellish the card, I used Spellbinder's Oval & Scalloped Oval Nestabilities, CTMH's Corner Rounder, CTMH's Chevron Embossing Folder and CTMH's Clear Assortment Sparkles.

I used CTMH's Home for the Holidays - October Stamp of the Month, Stitch Wonder, Best Christmas and Be Jolly - Hostess Rewards stamp sets with CTMH Ruby & Juniper inks.

To colour in the word "Merry" on the inside sentiment, I used Copic Marker R37.

Here is my Paper Bag Christmas Card.

I used one of Close to My Heart's Designer Creations Ruby Paper Bags (pg 176) with CTMH Ponderosa Pine and White Daisy cardstocks.

To embellish the card, I used CTMH's Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge to cut out the Postage Stamp die-cut.

I used Home for the Holidays - October's Stamp of the Month, A Holiday and Be Jolly - Hostess Rewards stamp sets with CTMH Ponderosa Pine & Ruby inks.

In the open bag part of the card, I tucked in one of my daughter's wallet school photos, but you could also fit a gift card in there as well.

12 Days of Christmas - Post #2

For this Christmas Ornament, I used Close to My Heart's Art Philosophy and cut out two CTMH White Daisy Ornaments at 2.5" and two CTMH Snowhaven Patterned Paper Ornaments at 2.5" as suggested by the stamp set.

I stamped "dreaming, believing, wishing" from Home for the Holidays stamp set with CTMH Cranberry ink and then I scored all four ornament pieces down the middle.

I glued the four pieces together with the Stampin' Up 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon on the inside (I believe it is the Soft Sky ribbon, but I am not positive).

I then glued four mini jingle bells that I bought at a local craft store, Unique Family Crafts or better known as the Prospect Avenue Craft store, in each crease of the ornament. Tied two bows with Turquoise Seam Binding Ribbon from Vintage Pixie and glued them back to back to each other.

Then I used CTMH's Baker's Twine Neutral Metallic Assortment (removed the silver) and tied it through my CTMH Cranberry Buttons (discontinued) and glued them in the middle of both of my bows.

October Stamp of the Month - Home for the Holidays!

To celebrate this Stamp of the Month, I had wanted to do a 12 Days of Christmas Post starting on October 2 and going every 2nd day until October 24th (because of December 24th). Due to some personal issues I wasn't able to get it started.

So, Plan B, start my 12 Days of Christmas Posts on Thanksgiving (which is also my younger brother's birthday) and post every day and then I will still end on October 24th.

This is a Christmas Tag that I made for Trevor's Grandparents' gift that we already gave them since they are snow birds.

I used Close to My Heart's Snowhaven Paper Packet with CTMH Cranberry, Glacier & White Daisy cardstocks.

To embellish the tag, I used CTMH's Baker's Twine Neutral Metallic Assortment, CTMH Scalloped Border Punch and CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.

I used CTMH's Home for the Holidays - October Stamp of the Month and Glamour Lowercase Alphabet stamp sets with CTMH Cranberry & Black inks.
