Color My Heart Color Dare #118

I used Close to My Heart's Smoothie, Honey, Olive & Colonial White cardstocks.

To embellish this card, I used a CTMH 2 x 2 Acrylix Block inked up with CTMH Smoothie & Honey ink to make the background on the front of the card. I also did the same thing on a scrap piece of CTMH Colonial White cardstock with CTMH Olive ink and then stamped my leaves on it and cut them out for the front and the inside of the card. For the inside of the card, I used CTMH's Spray Pen with CTMH Honey ink to make the background.

I used CTMH's Pretty Petals and Lovely Birthday stamp sets with CTMH Smoothie, Honey & Olive inks.

You may use any products to participate in the Color My Heart Challenges, but we encourage you to use CTMH products. For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.

CTMH Cupcake Box

For the Cupcake, I bought 4 Micro Fiber Clothes for $1.00 at the Dollarama. I liked them better than using face clothes because they are rectangle and not square. It was easier for me to wrap around the $1.00 Cherry Lip Balm Tube that I bought for the Cherry on Top of the cupcake. I used an elastic to keep the cupcake together.

For the Cupcake Wrapper, I used CTMH's Artiste Cricut Cartridge to cut the wrapper out of CTMH's Brushed Paper Packet. I used the same cartridge to cut out the CTMH Pixie cardstock bow and then I used CTMH's Clear Sparkles Assortment to add a bit of bling to the project.

For the CTMH Designer Creations Cupcake Box, I used CTMH's Artiste Cricut Cartridge to cut out the CTMH Pixie cardstock banner and tag. I embellished the tag with CTMH's Brushed Paper Packet and a CTMH Clear Sparkle.

I used CTMH's Oodles of Doodles, Sweet as Sugar, Best Christmas (stitching on tag) and Have a Happy Day stamp sets with CTMH Pixie & Cocoa inks.

Gift Wrapping

A few years ago I thought it would be fun to random stamp all my Christmas gifts for Family & Friends. It turned out nice, but my fingers ended up blistered from all the stamping.

So, this year, since I have started my Christmas shopping early enough, I am playing around with different types of gift wrapping by incorporating scrapbooking/stamping into the mix.

For the first gift in this post "Cameron", I used Close to My Heart's Marquee Uppercase and A Holiday stamp sets with CTMH Topiary, Cranberry & Ruby inks.

I used a sponge dauber with CTMH Topiary ink around the edges. I had thought about spritzing the paper as well, may try that on another gift.

The nice thing with no ribbon, twine or tags...this is easy to store away until Christmas.

For the second gift in this post "Oh Happy Day", I used Close to My Heart's Confetti Wishes Scrapbooking Workshop, You're Own Kind of Wonderful and It's the Little Things - November Stamp of the Month stamp sets with CTMH Smoothie, Goldrush & Saddle inks.

I used a sponge dauber with CTMH Goldrush ink around the edges and I used CTMH's Smoothie Stripe Washi Tape. This is a baby girl gift.

For the third gift in this post "Shanna", I used Close to My Heart's Brushed Scrapbooking Workshops and Handwritten Print Alphabet stamp sets with CTMH Outdoor Denim & Indian Corn Blue inks.

I used Bella Blvd Designer Tape - Navy Dot and Doodlebug Designs Bubble Blue Swiss Dot Washi Tape. Shanna loves blue, washi tape and polka-a-dots.

The paper I used is from our local newspaper office. They sell off their remnant paper rolls.

Through the Generations 8 x 8 Layout

I am not only making my grandparents an 8 x 8 album, but Trevor's grandparents as well.

It's a work in progress. As I feel like doing a page or two, I am and then I mail or deliver the pages.

This layout was made for Trevor's grandmother's birthday gift.

I used Cosmo Cricket's Love Notes Paper Pack & Die-Cuts with CTMH's Smokey Plum cardstock.

To embellish the layout, I used Close to My Heart's Quatrefoil Embossing Folder, CTMH's Brown & Tan Assortment Sparkles, CTMH's Sponge Dauber with CTMH's Smokey Plum ink and Nursery Rhymes Cricut Cartridge for the title.
