Shut the Front Door!

I made this card for my cousin, Jason's birthday. We are now the same age for 5 months.

He is an avid outdoorsman.

I used BoBunny's Camp-a-Lot Patterned Paper with BoBunny's Khaki, Olive & Coffee Double Dot cardstocks.

To embellish the card, I used CTMH brads and Stampin' Up's Banner Punch.

I used PKSC-29 May 2014 Peachy Keen Stamps, CTMH's Marquee Uppercase Alphabet and Stampin' Up Banner Blast stamp sets with CTMH's Cocoa ink.

Love & Hugs Sympathy Card

Close to My Heart Products that I used from one of the June Promotional Collection Kits: Just Blooms Floret Paper Shapes and Durables Round Studs.

Current CTMH products that I used: Sarita Paper Packet, Goldrush cardstock, Chocolate cardstock, Rosewood Mini Medley Accents Collections, Brown & Tan Assortment Sparkles, Scalloped Border Punch, Words of Comfort stamp set and Chocolate ink.

I also used brown hemp that I had bought at Zellers.

I had enough flowers to make three of these cards for my stash. I just had to change up the bling in the middle of the flowers to get all three cards done.

Happy Halloween Card

Close to My Heart Products that I used from one of the June Promotional Collection Kits: Black Striped Grossgrain Ribbon and Durables Round Studs.

Current CTMH products that I used: Black cardstock, Slate cardstock, Smokey Plum cardstock, Damask Embossing Folder, Sponge Dauber, Backdrop - Charmed stamp set, Love Life stamp set, Black and Whisper inks.

I inked the Black Striped Grossgrain Ribbon with a sponge dauber and Whisper ink because the white in the ribbon was too bright for my card. The ink holds well to the ribbon, the only problem was that no tape would stick to the ribbon (ATG Tape Gun or Glue Lines). I actually had to use a hot glue gun to get the knotted ribbon to stick. Had no problems using the glue lines or ATG Gun on the same ribbon in the previous post that had no ink on it.

To make the Durables Round Studs black, I inked them up with my black Copic marker.

Believe Banner Christmas Card

Here is another card that I made using the Holiday Happiness Collection from Close to My Heart that is only being offered in June for $30 (when you spend $50).

Items I used from the Holiday Happiness Collection:  Frosted Turquoise cardstock, Sparkle & Shine Assortment and Sparkle & Shine Textiles.

Items I used that are currently available from CTMH: Whisper cardstock, White Daisy cardstock, Ruby Mini Medley Accents Collections, Harvest Assortment Baker's Twine, Damask Embossing Folder, Quatrefoil Embossing Folder, Perfect Fit Holidays - Holiday stamp set with Slate ink.

I also used my sewing machine with gray thread that I bought from Fabricland and a pair of pinking shears.

Live for Today - Colour Challenge Card

I decided to participate in Color My Heart's - Color Dare #96 - CTMH Creme Brulee, Crystal Blue, Sorbet (Optional: Juniper & Sky and Balloon Ride Paper Packet).

I used CTMH's Balloon Ride Paper Packet with CTMH Sorbet, Creme Brulee and Colonial White cardstocks.

To embellish the card, I used Butterfuly die-cuts from the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge, Bow die-cut from the Artiste Cricut Cartridge, CTMH's Scalloped Border Punch, CTMH Watercolor Pencils, a CTMH Sponge, a Basic Gray brad and my sewing machine with thread from Fabricland.

The CTMH Quick Cards - Japanese Blossom stamp was coloured with the CTMH Watercolor Pencils and brushed over with a water blending pen. I also sponged it with Sorbet & Champagne inks. I used CTMH's In the Background stamp set to stamp the butterflies and the inside of the card corners with Sorbet ink and CTMH's Joyful Birthday stamp set for the inside sentiment with Sorbet ink. The Colonial White cardstock on the inside of the card was also sponged with CTMH's Sorbet and Champagne inks.

The photo of this card isn't all that great due to our 3rd day of rain. I had to work with inside lighting.

Celebrate You

Here is another take on my Canada Day card as a birthday card.

I used CTMH's White Daisy Cardstock.

To embellish the card, I used CTMH's Lagoon Houndstooth Washi Tape, CTMH's Teal Shimmer Trim and CTMH's Clear Sparkles. Close to My Heart's Shimmer Trim already has adhesive on the back...easy to apply.

I used one of the CTMH stamp sets that comes with the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge, CTMH's Just a number, CTMH's Kaboom - June Stamp of the Month and CTMH's Circus Alphabet - July Stamp of the Month stamp sets with CTMH Lagoon and Twilight inks.
