This is a card that I made for my friend, Ellena.
She doesn't have breast cancer, but she does have a form of Lymphoma Cancer & she has always been a big supporter of Breast Cancer since she knows & has known people close to her with Breast Cancer.
To me, the pink ribbon represents more than Breast Cancer. It represents unity among women, it represents strength, courage, endurance & love. Ellena has all of that and more. So, I figured it was okay to send her a card of support with a pink ribbon on it.
I wrote in a personal note to her on the inside of the card. Nothing too deep because I can't get what's in my head out onto paper very well, but a note just reminding her that I am always here for her.
The stamp set is from My Favourite Things. The fabric is from Fabricland, the ribbon & paper is from my stash.
Copic Markers Used: RV00, RV02, RV04, T0 & T2
I made this Bingo Christmas Card just for the fun of it. Well, not completely. We made up Bingo Cards for our Charity Stamping Party with Stampin' Up's New "Bingo Card" Stamp that is in their Mini Catalogue right now. I wanted to show that this stamp could also be used to make a card because most people find the size of it intimidating for a card.
I had a lot of fun making this card. The hard part was picking the numbers to go on the card. I am very anal....I know most of you will find that to be very shocking of me, but I am. So, I couldn't just put random numbers on, no, that would be too easy. Every number on this card has some sort of meaning to me. I just can't help who I am sometimes.
I used Bazzill Brown & Kraft Cardstock and Patterned Paper from Basic Grey's Jovial 6 x 6 paper pack. The buttons are from CTMH, the poinsetta flower & leaves are from Bazzill & so is the red embroidery floss and the brown brad is from American Crafts.
I used Stampin' Chocolate Chip, Real Red & Old Olive Ink. I used CTMH Say It in Style, Card Chatter - Christmas & Small Friendship Alphabet stamp sets and EK Success' Whale of a Punch Corner Punch for the die-cuts on the inside of the card.
DAT'S 3rd Annual Charity Pajama Stamping Party was a HUGE SUCCESS!
A BIG THANK YOU goes out to all of you who came out and participated in the event & to those of you who couldn't make, but still placed an order.
With your support we raised $910.00 for the Northern Cancer Fund - Chemotherapy in Honour of Ellena Esteves.
With all the orders placed with Close to My Heart & Stampin' Up, we had $770.00 in Hostess Rewards to purchase items for next year's Yard Sale with a Twist.
It was a great day filled with many laughs, lots of inspiration & packed full of fun.
We had 41 items to sell off at the Yard Sale with a Twist and that raised $880.00. Then Ellena sold off her extra card kits from that day & that brought in another $30.00 for a grand total of $910.00.
Not only did we raise money for a very good cause & in honour of a very amazing, strong & talented woman. We played BINGO on the stamped out BINGO cards that Shanna, Amy & I made. We made a Christmas card with Shanna from Close to My Heart and a Christmas card with Ellena from Stampin' Up. We raffled off some prizes. We brought lots of samples for everyone to see and we even had some punch & sweets to treat our taste buds.
It was an absolutely great Sunday afternoon!
I would like to thank Tracy Warwick for lending us a hand with cleaning up after the activities of the day. Your assistance was greatly appreciated.
I would also like to thank my husband, Trevor; my cousin, Brandi & my friend, Kelly for all their assistance with keeping things running smoothly throughout the afternoon. Without your assistance, it would have been a very crazy day for Shanna, Ellena & I. So, thank you.
A special thank you also goes out to my daughter, Amy. She helped us with a lot of the prep work when Ellena wasn't able to because she was in the hospital. Amy also did a lot of the set up & take down on the day of the event & did a fabulous job running her Copic Air Brushing Demonstration Table. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

YEAH! I am so excited! This is a first for me. All of my workshops for the rest of this year are designed, packaged & ready to be taught. I have never been this ahead of the game before and it feels incredible. I just had to share that with all of you.

The satin ribbon & embroidery floss is from WAL-MART and we are also using Stamping Bella Ruby Red 7mm & 5mm Bonbons.
The button die-cuts in the top right corner were made with the Marvy Button Clever Lever Silhouette & Embossing Craft Punch.
Photo Sizes for this layout are: one vertical 4 x 6 photo, two horizontal 2.75 x 3.75 photos and three horizontal 2 x 3 photos.

For the November Calendar Page we are using two-sided papers Kaleidoscope, Chicken Pox, & Crazy Quilt from Basic Grey's June Bug line. The word "FALL" is cut out from KI Memories Water Alpha Stencil Transparency sheet. Due to the shiny transparency, the word "FALL" didn't photograph well. In person, the word "FALL" blends in nicely with the page.
The corner & leaf die-cuts were cut out with my Cricut Machine using the Home Accents Cricut Cartridge with Scrapbook Sally Silver Shimmer Paper. The flower strip die-cut was cut out with one of EK Success' large border punches.
The word "FUN" is stamped out on the Silver Shimmer paper with CTMH's Tiny Typewriter Alphabet Stamp Set and Stampin' Up Going Grey Ink and then punched out with EK Success' small circle punch.
To give the page a little sparkle, we will be using Stamping Bella's 5mm & 7mm Charcoal Bonbons & Waterfall Stickles.
Photo Sizes for this layout are: one vertical 5 x 7 photo, one vertical 3.5 x 5 photo, one vertical 2 x 3 photo & a 1.5 circle photo.
